MAGNOLIA, Texas - A Magnolia High School broadcast journalism project that incorporated a popular Katy Perry song and developed into a YouTube sensation has attracted one special supporter -- Katy Perry herself!
More than 600 students and faculty members took part in the 'MHS Lip Dub,' a continuous one-shot music video featuring a lip-synch performance to the song "Firework" by Katy Perry.
The video was uploaded Dec. 9 to YouTube and submitted through the WatchDogNews channel, which features new and old videos from the broadcast journalism classes at Magnolia High School.
